A complete Paketadresse from A. 20 sent on 6 June 1889 from Oliva to Sydney.
The postage stamps, to the total value of 10,80 Mark, were cancelled with the postmark 'Oliva bei Danzig'.
Note the black of twenty 50 Pf. stamps on the back (see p. 2).
The parcel, weighting 5 Kg. went by ship via Bremen to Australia.
The postage from Danzig to Bremen (50-100 Miles), for a parcel in the weight band 5-6 Kg. was 80 Pf.
The postage from Bremen to Sydney for a parcel between 5 and 7,5 Kg. was 10 Marks.
