AN UPDATE ON THE PERFINS OF DANZIG, 1897 to 1945
In Danzig Report No.92. John Neefus took us into the world of Perfins. with an introduction to this form of commercial stamp identification. As with any area that we decide to study in great detail. it didn’t take long to find additional intormalion on the subject. John has been working with his counterpart in Holland. Willem Smetsers. and, between them, they have produced the deFinitive study of l)anzig Perlins. Of course, reality has proven that it will he only a matter of time before newer and additional discoveries may he brought forward. That’s the joy of collecting stamps and covers!
