Airmail unther study

23 x 47mm red rectangular handstamp reads: Mit Luftpost befirdert/Briefpostamt Berlin. The purple oval handstamp reads: Postüberwachungsstelle/Berlin * W.8 . According to a Danzig Arge article of 1979 by Werner Rittmeister, this is known as a Divisen—Kontrolle (on letters to and from Danzig, 1918-1925) or financial censor ship to prevent the flow of currency from the country. The oval design shown here is Type IIIm and was used from 16.3.22 until 23.8.22. Why such a long flight time?

Was IST?
We are always on the lookout for Danzig covers with Polish stamps, especially if flown. This purpurts to be cancelled with a 2.9.28 (?) oval Danzig 5 Stempel. But notice the address: An die Danziger Luftpost/DanzigfLangfuhr’ - how did this get delivered? The reverse side tells little more about this oddity, so, was this put on a plane, flown around the city and then stamped with the cachet? Is it treasure or trash?
