Several T.A.B.R.O.M.I.K. Examples from Bill Ruh -

Cover to Paris from DANZIG 1 29 May 192

Are all of these things forged, false, fantasies??? Here are 3 examples of covers that may or may not fit into this category. Here’s an article I found:

“Airmail communications started on the Posen—Warsaw and Posen— Danzig routes on May 29, and on the Warsaw—Posen service on May 31, 1921, remaining in operation until June 16, 1921. During this period there were 58 flights and 300 kilograms of correspondence were carried. All covers carried on the Warsaw-Posen or on the Posen-Danzig and return flights are very rare.”

The Paris cover at the top looks very interesting, but the two at the right have the mixed N and V syndrome as with the one on Page 13. Same guy did the machwerk, too. Some dealers have no shame in pricing these fakes. One famous specialist in Danzig is asking 15 British pounds for one with two labels, fake cancel and no address.
