Hansestadt Danzig.

Not much information was available concerning Seemotorenschnellschiff Hansestadt Danzig, except that it was built by the Vulcan Works in Stettin, Germany. It apparently was engaged in light freight service throughout the Baltic region, with regular service from Danzig and East Prussia to other German ports that were within reasonable distances. With its sister ship Preussen, they covered the route Swinemünde - Zoppot - Pillau - Memel. (See map on page 3 of Danzig Report No.84.)
