More on the 1904 Agricultural Fair

Giles du Boulay send us the only card he has on the subject, with the 10.06.04 special Fair cancel. Zoppot was quite a place for holidays!

EDDIE KRAUSE writes from Hamburg with more on the 1904 Agricultural Fair:

A series of postcards was used by the 18th Movable Agricultural Exhibition, whereof I found three in my collection. The year 1904 was a blessed year since there was at least a third exhibition in Danzig: the Craftsmanship and Trade Exhibition. Copies of the front and back of this card are shown in Illustrations 2 and 3 on the next page. Printed in black ink on white stock, the card was mailed from Danzig 1 on the 12th of September, 1904. It arrived in Lubeck on the 13th. Regretably, the card does not show the duration of the meeting, nor does the writer “Paula’ give any hints, and I myself have also no idea. The reverse side bears no relation to the exhibition, with only the address lines and standard postcard wording. Can anyone else show copies of this trade exhibition?
