Shift!
Here’s Michel 266 with a printing problem. The Druckerei let one sheet slip thru with a bad case of mis-registration--the blue plate has shifted to the right to lose focus. The 1588 High Gate still stands, high and dry, since the 1905 removal of the fortifications.

It is with deep sadness that we report the death of a very dearfriend, Eddie Krause. As you will read in John Whiteside’s article, Eddie was always ready to offer help to anyone who asked, and his expertise in Prussian covers has aided all of us, because he shared his knowledge. Words can’t express our gratitude to such a philatelist.
