Between the wars the Polish Post normally
used official seals on documents and mail
to confirm the official character of these
documents. Other ways of usage of official
seals exist but are quite rare. The Polish
Post in Danzig used an official seal of the
Postal and Telegraphic Management Office
three times as pre-cancellations.

postage had been prepaid in Danzig, the
stamp was pre-cancelled with an official
seal DYREKCJA POCZT I TELEGRAFÓW

GDAŃSKU WYDZIAŁ RACHUNKOWY
