4 THE RAILWAY STATION POST OFFICE

4.3 THE HANDLING OF NORMAL MAIL

From 1930 Post Office Gdańsk No 2 also started to handle small amounts of normal mail. This mail probably came from the letter-box near the
entrance of the railway station and another located on one of the platforms. The mail was added to mailbags for Poland arriving from the Main Post
Office at the Heveliusplatz although officially this was not permissible.
