Before publishing the definitive volume (Series C, No. 8) devoted to the question of the Polish Postal Service in Danzig (Advisory Opinion) No.. Ill, it has been fùund necessary to make a close examination of the dossier in order, amongst other things, ta correct certain dates which were sometimes wrongly given in the documents.

These errors, which are few in number and ail of them of a clerical nature, have been simply corrected, but it appears desirable to mention the fact in arder to explain beforehand certain slight divergences which may be observed between the text of documents transmitted to the Court and that of the present volume.
