Post Siegelmarken, the evolution of Paper Seals.
Related to the paper seals in this example of a document containing white paper , embossed seal. The two-headed Tsarist Eagle identifies it as Russian, dated 1808, Tsar Alexander I is appointed resident in Danzig, has signed the document in his own hand under the date of 18 June, 1808.
