Milk can Gate, built in 1517, is pictured on a Max card with CTO cancel of 20.5.37 over a Mi. No. 262 stamp on front of card. Buildings in the background are on the Speicherinsel. On this Polish map is the bridge at the Green Gate (17) from which many photos, such as those shown on Page 7 were taken. At No. 18 is the Natural Science Union Observatory at the foot of the Frauengasse. Between the Mottlau and a back-water called the Kiel Graben is an island contairng a Royal Granary (30).  A view of the Speicher—insel if shown on Page 11. Geniessen!
