My work involves using computers, and I can help the Danzig Study Group in using computers to do other interesting assignments. The enclosed examples were created by using an image scanner, computer system and several programs. The images were reproduced using a LaserJet II printer.

Thanks for the introduction to another method of enlarging stomps. in May of 1985, the A .P.S. Journal printed on article by Louis Basel, Computerized Plating of the Hermes Heads of Greece, which detailed “pixel” measurements for extreme accuracy. His method included a CCTV camera and monitor, feeding a Tecmar digitizer board. Today, we can bypass the camera with a “scanner”. Special programs are available, and we have heard of courses using this technique being taught at a local art school and community college. The ability to enlarge and provide accurate measurements seems to be the way of the future. Any other experiences to report out there?
