5.2.4 DOMESTIC MAIL - TELEGRAPH SERVICES

Telegrams sent for special occasions, like birthdays,
engagements, weddings, anniversaries, jubilees, Easter,
Christmas, New Year, sports performances, condolences, etc.
could be sent as commemorative telegrams (telegramy
okolicznościowe) with lower fees starting from 1 June 1933.
Such telegrams were to be marked = XLT =. Commemorative
telegrams were delivered on specially illustrated telegram forms
in special envelopes as far as available for the occasion.

XLT - Commemorative telegram sent from Warszawa to Danzig which was, although marked XLT, delivered on a normal telegram form.
Probably it was not clear what the occasion was and the Post in Danzig didn’t know which form to use. Single-line GDAŃSK 1 TELEF: 24094.
