Index of Gdansk Post Offices Since 1945
This is a very handy chart (from the Arge Danzig) for identifying Polish and German post offices in Gdañsk after 1945. carry this with you when visiting the Gdatisk area. It can really help!
The numerals in parenthesis indicate that this locality under Gdatisk runs, as in this example: Brösen = Gdansk 7 (Brzezno)
The Danzig post offices had about thirty consecutive numbers. Their locations are not always known. Gdaiisk 15 is in the Weidengasse.
Some offices (for instance: Kiodawa Gdarcska) have a cancellation with the place name and an additional name: Gdarska, Gdaziski, or Gdanskie.
