Above left: Encashment order for 9,90 złoty from Gdańsk to Chełmno. POLSKI URZĄD POCZTOWY GDAŃSK 2 b cds 5.6.39 on two Polish 10 groszy stamps, covering the fee for an encashment for amounts up to 10 złoty. CHEŁMNO arrival cds 7.6.39 on the reverse. Manuscript "asked for respite 17/VI" and "refused to pay 21/VI" on the front side and "return to sender 22/6" on the reverse.
Above right: Encashment order for 10 złoty from Gdańsk to Gdynia. POLSKI URZĄD POCZTOWY GDAŃSK 2 a on a Polish 20 groszy stamp, covering the fee for an encashment for amounts up to 10 złoty. GDYNIA 1 1a arrival cds 5.11.37 on the front, a single line ZAPŁACONE (paid) and GDYNIA 1 1d cds 8.11.37 on the reverse. Unique 20 groszy single franking.
Below: Registered express letter from Gdańsk to Poznań. POLSKI URZĄD P.-T. GDAŃSK 1 i cds 9.6.37 and boxed registration handstamp GDAŃSK 1 k. POZNAŃ 3 1 arrival cds 10.6.37 on the reverse. 25 groszy for the letter, 30 for registration and 50 express fee.
