Freie Stadt Danzig - Essays Coat of Arms.

August 1, 1921/August 1922. Danzig coat of Arms in Large horizontal format. Designed by Max Buchholtz and printed by Julius Sauer, Danzig by letterpress. Stamps are printed with a black and red background with a light gray rosette underprint on both vertical and horizontal honeycomb watermarked paper (Wz. 2). All values are perforated serrate rouletted 13 1/2.
- 5 Mark, bluishgreen/red vertical watermark.
- 10 Mark, ultramarine/red vertical watermark.
- 20 Mark, black/red vertical watermark.
- 5 Mark, bluishgreen/red horizontal watermark, March 1922.
- 10 Mark, ultramarine/red horizontal watermark, March 1922.
- 20 Mark, horizontal watermark, March 1922.

Proofs without gray rosetted underprint.
- 5 Mark, without underprint on horizontal honeycomb watermarked paper (Wz. 2Y).
- 10 Mark, without underprint on vertical honeycomb watermarked paper (Wz. 2X).
- 20 Mark, without underprint on horizontal honeycomb watermarked paper (Wz. 2Y).
