Examples of Danzig Meter Mail
At the top is a meter trial proof dated 19.8.29 printed on watermarked paper. This impression, however, is not the usual watermark, as can be seen in the bottom prir.t, which is slightly reduced in size. Note the sailing ship, DANZIG in block letters and shield with crown and two crosses. Has anyone seen this type of watermark ?
