INFLATION ANOMALIES

Alfred Weisse, of Minneapolis, sent in a copy of Michel #166, containing a round notch in its lower frame, evidentally from a cliche nail or from the hammer used to drive it. Fortunately, we had several full sheets of this series (163—167) and were able to trace
the position to Field 96, on both of the sheets.

At the left are two stamps, #164 and #166, containing a mm break in the top frame, 5.5mm from the left vertical frame. However, we weren’t successful in finding such a break on any of the eight sheets of this series. According to the GPS circuit info, they are both from Field 14.
