Because LUPOSTA was an international airmail exhibition, much attention to it was paid from abroad, and for this reason letters from different countries were forwarded on the LUPOSTA Zeppelin ,flights, and these will be of interest to both the Danzig Zeppelin mail collector and for those countries’ collectors as well. By contractual agreement some of this even showed mixed frankings between postage stamps of the countries of origin and those of The German Reich. On the three flights on the occasion of LUPOSTA participation by the following countries is known:

1) LUPOSTA flight, arrival in Danzig
The German Reich, German “on board’ mail, Saar territory, Hungary, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, The Netherlands as well as, with mixed frankings, Luxembourg. Austria and the USSR;

2) LUPOSTA flight, drop over Ronne
The German Reich, German “on board” mail, The Netherlands. Switzerland as well as, with mixed frankings, Greece and Luxembourg;

3) LUPOSTA round trip
a) drop over Rønne: Danzig and Liechtenstein.
b) arrival in Danzig : Switzerland and Danzig.

4) Return flight from LUPOSTA
Danzig, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

Many examples of one particular mixed franking between German Reich and Danzig have been found. This concerns the LUPOSTA flight, drop over Ronne. The affixed LUPOSTA set of stamps is postmarked Danzig and the German stamps bear the on board cancellation. This is apparently a double use of both the flight to LUPOSTA end the round trip.
