Once again Danzig was a Treaty S1a1e from the very start. The mkl-AUanUc catapult airmail service was discontinued at the end of August 1939.

As explained in the section on Zeppelin rates, above, the surcharges for air forwarding to South America (i.e. for connections, mainly by Air France. to the transatlantic steamer) as shown In the table below, were lower than for Zeppelin forwarding until 1935 when all the rates were harmonised.

POSTAL RATES

(The fees are all given in Danzig Gulden and are in addition to normal foreign postal rates).
