REGULATIONS OF THE INTERNATIONAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION "GDANSK 1000" 1997

1. The International Philatelic Exhibition "GDANSK 1000" with the participants of the Baltic See region countries is a competitive exhibition of 2nd degree and is organized to celebrate 1000th anniversary of Gdansk.

2. The exhibition will teke place from 15th to 23rd August 1997 in the Defenders' of the Polish Post Philatelic House in Gdansk at 28/30, Straganiorska Street.

3. The organizer of the exhibition is the Management of the Polish Philatelic Association Circle in Gdansk on behalf of which the Organizational Committee of the Exhibition (OCE) represents and acts) appointed by the Headquarters of the Polish Philatelic Association In Warsaw.

4. The sent of the Organizational Committee of the Exhibition in In the Philatelic House in Gdansk at 28/30, Straganiorska Street, tel. 31-63-52.

5. The correspondence concerning the exhibition should be addressed to:

6. All the members and participants of the Polish Philatelic Association can be the exhibitors, as well as the members of philistine circles from the Beltic See region countries and the organizational units of tho Polish Philatelic Association. One exhibitor cannot exhibit more than two items.

7. Exhibiting the items is not charged. lt in assumed that n grownup exhibitor will have 5 exhibition frames (16 cards), hut a young exhibitor will receive frames according to the group of age obligatory In the Polish Philatelic Association (3 4 Cremes). in justifiable cases an exhibitor may receive 6 frames and even 10 (with e special Invitation).

8. The items delivered to the exhibition should he elaborated on onesided cards of a standard format, numbered, in protective safepockets, with a label of the item and n detailed specification In two copies. At the back of each card there should be the surname and name of the exhibitor.

9. The item accepted to the exhibition will be divided into the following classes:
1. Honorable Claus - the item of special meaning to philately will be invited by the Organizational Committee and the items which have received at least one silver medal at the exhibition under the auspice of FIP or a big goldcovered medal on the Polish national numbered exhibition for the past 5 year.
