which states “...ovalen blauen Gummistempel”.) However, Jim’s cachet is purple and of the same shade as the return address imprint. Is this possible? Inasmuch as the card doesn’t have a Danzig postmark, he assumes that it was posted initially in Germany - not Danzig. Is this a correct assumption?

While discussing Zepp covers, take a look at one sent in by G. Quidzinski of Toronto. In the same Zeppelin issue mentioned above, Report No. 6, Page 13, Ruberg states that: “At the time of this copy deadline, it is not known to me if letters exist with a Roumanian arrival cancellation. I request to see any available pieces as I presume that only passenger mail was dropped over Bucharest”.

That was written in 1929 in Danzig. Mr. Quidzinski says that this cover is in his collection and is cancelled in DANZIG 5 on 12.1O.29.5-6N and FRIEDRICHSHAFEN 15.1O.29 7-8N. The scarce BUCHUREST/16 OCT 929/PAR AVION arrival cancellation is in red. Has anyone else seen this item?
