5.1.2 DOMESTIC MAIL – POSTAL SERVICES
Zeppelin mail was officially not
allowed at the Polish Post in
Danzig. In spite of this in 1932 and
1933 some mail was sent from
Danzig by the dirigible Graf
Zeppelin to South America. Mail
was usually first sent from Danzig
to addresses in Poland and from
there to South America. Later mail
was sent directly from Danzig.
8 September 1933. Zeppelin mail
sent from Danzig through Rynik,
Berlin and Friedrichshafen to
Brasil. Special cachets for the
Anschlussflug and the 7th South
America flight. CORREIO AERO

Port Gdańsk one złoty stamps
appear to have gone missing
during the travel. In Brazil the
letter was considered as unpaid
and 3800 Reis postage due was
raised, indicated by the Thandstamp.
